Harvest is a time to give thanks for the food we that we have. 4C teach us about harvest traditions and encourage us to think about the people who work hard to provide our food.
Sharing the Harvest
Harvest is also a time to think of others who less fortunate than ourselves. Often, food is collected and
distributed to people who are in need. Click the picture on the left to read an important message from 4C,
made using letters from the word 'HARVEST'.
This year, instead of bringing food, each class has collected money for the charity 'Walking With Giants'.
Our collection raised £234 to help people with a condition called 'Primordial Dwarfism'; people like Alex
Connerty who has just started Summerhill Primary School in Maghull. For more information about our chosen
charity, please visit the Walking with Giants
website.
