Events Diary
At Forefield Juniors, our pupils are given many opportunities to enjoy a wide range of learning experiences outside of normal classroom activities. Listed below are just some of the special events and other important dates planned for this term. Click on any underlined links for more information and pictures, or to visit related websites. 16th: INSET Day - School

- 1.00pm - Class Photographs
- Monday 23rd: Sponsored Practice-a-thon begins - Pupils practise their instruments and songs every day for two weeks to raise money for CLIC Sargent.
- Thursday 26th: Y3 Sports Hall Athletics Competition at Chesterfield High School
- Friday 27th: Y6 Sports Hall Athletics Finals at Chesterfield High School

2nd: Year 3 visit to Liverpool World Museum- Friday
4th:
- Mufti Day in memory of Michael Neophytou - All money raised will support Alder Hey and Surrana's Stepping Stone Appeal.
- 9.00am - 3E Class Assembly
- Bank Holiday Monday 7th: 1.30pm - Young Musicians Charity Concert at Stamps Bistro - Forefield pupils join other local young people for a special performance in aid of CLIC Sargent.
- Tuesday 8th: 6.30pm - Meeting for Year 6 parents about Ambleside holiday
- Friday 11th: Year 4 Roman Day
- Monday 14th: Test Week begins - Year 6 pupils sit their end of Key Stage 2 tests (SATs) while children in Years 3, 4 and 5 have their written assessments.
- Friday 25th:
- Year 5 Caribbean Day - to enhance the Geography topic of St Lucia
- 12.45pm - Year 6 Netball tournament at Chesterfield High School
- Thursday 31st: Year 6 pupils leave for their residential visit to Ambleside.
June
- Friday 1st: 3.30pm - School closes for the half-term break.
- Monday 4th: Year 6 pupils return from Ambleside.

- Wednesday 20th: 7.00pm - School Concert - a showcase Forefield's musical talent
- Tuesday 26th: Lower Junior Sports Afternoon
- Thursday 28th: Upper Junior Sports Afternoon
July
Monday 9th: Year 6 Induction Day at Chesterfield High School - Tuesday 10th: 2.30pm - Open Afternoon
- Friday 13th: Chesterfield High School Olympic Sports Afternoon - for pupils in Year 6
- Wednesday 18th: 7.00pm - Year 6 Leavers' Celebration
- Thursday 19th: 2.00pm - School closes for the summer holidays.
