Mr BrookMr Brook is the class teacher of 5B. As well as being responsible for History and Geography, he also runs the Year 5 Football and Year 6 Cricket clubs after school. Words used to describe Mr Brook include tall, attractive, funny and clever. However, it was Mr Brook who used these words to describe himself, but I suppose he has to start somewhere!

Miss CainThis year, Miss Cain has moved from Year 4 to Year 6 to teach class 6P. Just in case you were wondering, the P stands for Physical Education - Miss Cain's specialist subject area. She is also our swimming co-ordinator and has successfully led our swimming team to a number of victories in recent competitions. Currently, Miss Cain is running a Drama club with Miss Sprawson.
Miss CrawfordAs well as teaching class 4C, Miss Crawford is also the school ICT co-ordinator and the special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO) for Years 4 and 5. In addition, she leads the Cross Country club and the Year 3 Choir, as well as running the Young Animators club with Mrs Russell.
Mr CrootMr Croot is the class teacher of 6C. He has curriculum responsibilities for Science and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education). Despite being a self-confessed chocoholic, Mr Croot leads our Healthy Schools initiative and played a key role in helping us to attain Healthy Schools status last year. He has also taught recorder groups for a number of years.
Mrs DowerThis year, Mrs Dower has moved from Year 5 to Year 3 to teach class 3D. Along with Mrs Frackelton, Mrs Dower is responsible for our Literacy curriculum. She has also established a popular Reading Buddies club.
Mrs FrackeltonSince the introduction of Modern Foreign Languages into Primary Schools, Mrs Frackelton has been teaching French to children across the school. When not teaching French, she is one of our 'floating teachers' covering other teachers' non-contact time. Mrs Frackelton shares the role of Literacy co-ordinator with Mrs Dower.
Miss GerrardMiss Gerrard is the class teacher of 3G. She is responsible for our 'Able and More Able' programme, monitoring extended learning across the school. Having studied British Sign Language (BSL), Miss Gerrard aims to pass on these skills through a Sign Language club, and by encouraging pupils to take part in the British Deaf Association 'Learn to Sign Week' activities. Miss Gerrard also runs the Year 6 Dance club.
Mr HallHaving been a teacher at Forefield Juniors since 1975, Mr Hall has now taught a lot of children and parents of the same family and has been amazed at the number of changes made to the school. Mr. Hall teaches class 4H and is the community links, and R.E. curriculum coordinator. He also spends lunchtimes running chess clubs.
Mrs JamesMrs James is our Deputy Headteacher. She is commited to making Forefield a more environmentally friendly place and was responsible for setting the Forefield Eco Commitee. She also runs a First Aid club, leads regular school assemblies and is responsible for Child Protection.
Miss KhanMiss Khan joins us this year to teach class 3K. She also leads an after-school Dance club for boys.
Miss MorganMiss Morgan has also moved year groups, from Year 6 to Year 4. This year, her class is 4M. As part of her 'Making a Positive Contribution' role, Miss Morgan chairs our School Council. She is responsible for the DT curriculum and Young Engineers club, and leads Cricket clubs with Mr Brook.

Mr Naylor is the Headteacher of Forefield Junior school, and has overall responsiblity for the running of the school. He is extremely proud of the school, its staff and pupils, and has successfully led the us through two Outstanding OFSTED inspections.
Mrs RussellMrs Russell is the class teacher of 6R. She is the Assessment, Reporting and Recording co-ordinator, and is also responsible for Numeracy. Another of her key roles is to encourage pupils to 'Enjoy and Achieve'. Mrs Russell runs the popular Young Animators Club with Miss Crawford and, this year, introduces a Film club for children and their parents.
Mrs SchwartzMrs Schwartz has SENCO responsiblity for children in Years 3 and 6, and is the Art curriculum co-ordinator. She also teaches Year 3 and 4 Maths groups. Like Mrs Frackelton, Mrs Schwartz takes the role of a floating teacher, teaching lessons in a number of different classes across the school.
Miss SmithMiss Smith is the class teacher of 5S and is responsible for the PE Games curriculum. As well as running the school Netball clubs, Miss Smith also oversees a number of short-term clubs in a variety of sporting areas, including Judo, Athletics, Basketball and Tennis to name but a few. As our Primary Link Teacher, Miss Smith often involves pupils from Chesterfield High School in extra curricular activities.
Miss SprawsonAnother of our teachers to move year group is Miss Sprawson. Having taught in Year 3 for the last few years, she is now the class teacher of 5M. Miss Sprawson is our Music co-ordinator and leads our school choir. She also runs the Forefield Drama club with Miss Cain.
